Issues
We are designing two print formats. Both are in development — nothing here has been published, priced, or scheduled yet.
In development. There are no issues, covers, release dates, prices, ISBNs, subscriptions, advertisers, or availability to announce. This page describes the plan and the architecture behind it — not a product you can buy.
For adult readers
The Seasonal Review
A quarterly print collection that would gather the best reporting, analysis, and explainers from across the eight worlds into one considered volume.
- Draw from published web stories tagged as adult print candidates.
- Group work thematically rather than chronologically.
- Carry the same editorial standards and corrections policy as the site.
For younger readers
The Kids Seasonal Book
A separate, age-appropriate print book that would adapt public-health stories into big-idea, small-words features for children and classrooms.
- Built independently from the adult review, with its own editorial voice.
- Adapted from content tagged as kids print candidates.
- Designed with age-appropriate language, review, and permissions.
How stories become print candidates
Every published story carries a print-candidacy tag — adult, kids, or neither — so that if and when we produce a print edition, its contents are drawn from real, already-published work rather than invented for print.

Future underwriting
If a print edition is ever underwritten, it will follow the same firewall as the rest of the platform: underwriters may support production, but cannot buy, shape, or veto editorial content, and any support will be disclosed. There are no advertisers or underwriters today.
